Leetcode and Amazon life

Leetcode and Amazon life

I wanted to start todays update with a question from
@mainakmukhrjee6328

“Could you please tell about the projects you had on your CV which helped you get pass the ATS tracker?”

This was one of the fullstack projects on my resume:

Query Engine Application | TypeScript, Restify, CSS, HTML January 2021 – April 2021
  • Developed a web application using TypeScript for importing and querying UBC course data with a domain-specific language.

  • Employed Test-Driven Development (TDD) to ensure fulfillment of specifications before implementation.

  • Implemented a backend system to process queries based on Extended Backus-Naur Form (EBNF).

  • Designed and deployed a web server integrating REST endpoints, alongside a user-friendly frontend UI for web application deployment.

Coming up:

Next week, I'll be posting a video titled: “Day in the Life of an Amazon Intern.” Make sure to tune in. I’ll walk you through the commute, our daily routines at the office, the favorite intern lunch spots off-campus, and a whole lot more!

And hey,

Just a little nudge to get back on LeetCode. I get it, it’s tough after a day filled with work or classes. But it’s KEY for nailing those tech interviews, and I can’t emphasize enough how much it’s helped.

Don’t forget, in your job search, aim for both large and small companies. A lot of the interns at Amazon came in with zero internships under their belts. So, keep those options wide open.

See you next week :)

Till then, ❤️
